Sediment privacy policy

Last updated on November 6, 2026.

This policy covers Sediment: Block Puzzle (“Sediment” or “the app”), a puzzle game for Android published by Iceberg Labs, LLC (“we”).

The short version

Sediment does not collect, store, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind. Your scores stay on your device.

Information stored on your device

To remember your scores and settings, Sediment saves a small amount of game data on your device only:

  • your best score;
  • your daily run results and your streak;
  • your sound setting, and whether you have seen the how-to-play card.

This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling Sediment, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes it permanently.

Network use and permissions

All of the game’s artwork is built into the app and its sounds are generated on your device, so it works fully offline and does not send data over the internet. The app requests two Android permissions:

  • Internet, which is included by the framework the app is built with. Sediment does not use it to send or receive any information.
  • Vibrate, for a short vibration on big clears and at the end of a run.

Google Play

Sediment is distributed through Google Play. Google may collect information when you download or update the app, as described in Google’s own privacy policy. We do not receive personal information about you from Google; Google Play only gives us totals, such as the number of installs.

Children

Sediment is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes how it handles information, for example by adding an optional feature that needs it, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
